Mixed Textures-Soup
Updated: Oct 25, 2021

While at first glance, this doesn't appear to be soup, it did start out that way!
Mixed textures can be difficult for our picky eaters to eat. So, one strategy of easing into soup eating is to dissect the soup, and work on eating one food at a time. Then slowly incorporate adding bites of two foods or a single food and the broth.
We will post a reel to demonstrate how this technique worked with our 3-year old! When she first saw the soup, she was hesitant and turned away, so we started slowly with each ingredient ... and ... she ate the whole bowl!
Check out our Reels on Instagram where Isla demonstrates how this can be so helpful for kids learning to eat mixed textures!
